DIY Washi Tape Wrapping Paper

I don't know about you, but I'm always on the hunt for new washi tape projects. While these colourful tapes are definitely multi-taskers, one of my favourite ways to use them has always been for wrapping. Here's a fun (and easy!) way to make your own custom wrapping paper and a few clever ways to stretch the life of your washi tape!

Materials needed:
  • washi tape in your choice of colours & patterns
  • white printer paper
  • colour printer with copy / scan functions

Serve up a chocolate snowman to your children or party guests. Fill up this cute bowl with marshmallows, ice cream, or other sweet treats. We think he’s deliciously irresistible!

Supplies: white candy melts, chocolate candy melts, orange candy melts, skewer, water balloons (one for each snowman you are going to make)

How To: Make Modern Paper Holiday Garland (on the Cheap!)

Total cost was under $5.00 for at least sixty feet of garland, and I whipped everything up in under an hour.

Materials and tools
  • Secondhand books with relatively thick pages (I went to the half-priced bookstore and raided the $1.00 section)
  • Cardstock in colors of your choice
  • Circle punch, 1-2" diameter
  • Sewing machine, or needle and thread
