Thread Crochet Baby Converse Pattern free


These crochet shoes walk the line between “Oh my holy cuteness” and “why in the world would anyone make those”.  I’m leaning towards the cute side myself…

Material:
  • Cotton thread in white and your choice of color
  • Hook 1.75mm
  • Hook 1.25 mm (for the laces)


Stitches used:
  • chain (ch)
  • slip stitch (ss)
  • single crochet (sc)
  • single crochet decrease (sc2tog)
  • half double crochet (hdc)
  • double crochet (dc)
  • double crochet decrease (dc2tog)
  • triple crochet (tc)

Sewing Kit in a Jar


With just a little retrofitting, an old-fashioned Mason jar can become a new sewing kit with a built-in pincushion on top. To begin, separate the lid's sealer and screw cap. Trace around sealer on cardboard. Using a compass, draw another circle on linen or cotton, 1 inch larger in diameter than the first.  (MORE)
